MWC Infant Care is looking for infant care assistance to oversee all aspects of infant care services at home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Personal daily care
• Feeding and cleaning after a child
• Putting a baby to sleep with a lullaby.
• Singing a baby lullaby whenever possible
• Playful with a baby whenever possible
• Swaddling a baby whenever possible
• Wellness check-up appointment
• Follow treatment plans and advice.
• Keeping doctor’s appointments and records
• Laundry services for baby
• Room and Bedding services for baby
REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS:
• Infant care assistance provides safe environments for babies while their mothers rest and relax at home after delivery or during their postpartum period.
• Responsible for the baby’s basic needs, including dressing, feeding, laundry, and supervising play and nap times. Infants’ care assistance typically works at the client’s home.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patience with babies.
• Exceptional listening skills, compassion, and the ability to remain calm.
• Up-to-date child clearance certifications.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug tests.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform tasks such as sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting infants.
• Creativity and a willingness to play and be fun-loving with infants.
• An infant care assistance, high school diploma, or GED, or its equivalents with one year of experience in infant care.
